We have many amazing plans to return to the homestead life but before we talk about our future plans we would like to talk about where we have been. .

I'm Kayla and my husband is Robert. We met in 2008 on Main Street in the tiny town I grew up in. .

We connected instantly. Then quickly became best friends. He was the friend I'd always wanted, that person who loved me for me. We started dating a few months later. .

At this time life was tumultuous for both of us. Neither of us had anything and we could barely plan for the week ahead so clearly we didn't have five year plans. We didn't know where life would take us just that we wanted to go together. .

Since then many things have happened. Changes that we would never expect were waiting for us around every corner. These changes have made us stronger, closer, and even more in love than we ever thought possible.

We have had an amazing relationship and as we approach ten years of marriage next month I felt now would be a great time to share our story. Our love story. .
